A RACI chart is a variation of an authority matrix, and a simple example of such a chart is shown above. The structure and power of RACI modeling with the activities down the left-hand side including the actions that need to be taken and decisions that must be made. Across the top, the chart lists the functional roles responsible for carrying out the initiative or playing a part in decision making.
